Strategic Objective

To monitor and evaluate the performance of new academic programs based on contemporary educational systems with the intent of the widespread of the culture of excellence based education and adopting new education systems in teaching, and evaluation, to prepare a distinctive graduate capable of competing in the labor market. The student partakes in the costs of this type of education. These programs comprise all new programs that apply the credit hour system, and special English or French, or joint degrees with foreign counterparts or the programs with foreign enrollment such as the Malaysian program in the Faculties of Medicine.

Specific Objectives

The project aims to:

Set rules and regulations for the establishment and sustainability of new programs in compliance with overall quality standards.

Suggest criteria of evaluation for academic performance on the level of the program and its impact on the educational process in the faculty in all aspects of performance; or in respect of the final outcome of these new programs (graduates) and their relevance of the labor market.

Evaluate the performance of these programs during implementation to ensure the application of overall quality standards in accordance with international standards, particularly that some of these programs were able to attract a large number of foreigners .

Monitoring the current programs to assure the application of comprehensive quality standards in all aspects of the educational process, in addition to providing the students with special skills  the special and the culture of self-learning .

Ensure the effectiveness of graduate follow up systems and evaluating the outcome from the point of view of the end user, and the effectiveness of the autonomy of the program for self improvement and development in accordance with the requirements of the labor market .

Prepare the essential data bases to assist in impact assessment and the study of effectiveness of these programs on the overall educational system in  the faculty and the university offering them .
