The project aims to finalize the implementation of internal quality systems in all faculties and universities (in the fourth and fifth rounds) to achieve a competitive institutional capacity that is qualified to engage in continuous improvement within the framework of quality standards.

The project aims to:

  Create a competitive environment that encourages continuous improvement within the framework of quality reference standards.

  Disseminate and adopt the culture and concepts of quality in academic and research improvement.

  Upgrade the efficiency of institutional capacity to support self improvement and sustainable development in view of reference standards.

Support faculties and institutes to achieve their mission and strategic objectives.

  Prepare the vision, mission statement, objectives and strategic plan.

  Disseminate the culture of quality within academic milieu in higher education institutes.

Establish quality assurance and qualifying for accreditation unit.

  Determine the national academic reference standards.

  Enhance the capabilities of faculty members and the assisting staff in the field of teaching and learning and preparing the program.

  Prepare course and program specifications and reports.

  Evaluate and assess courses and programs.

  Assess examination systems.

  Automate, produce,  prepare and update data bases.

  Improve the quality of educational opportunities to gain confidence of society.

  Increase the efficiency of research activities of educational institutes.

  Prepare the annual report for the educational institute as the basis for subsequent steps of improvement and development.

Generate an action plan aiming to upgrade the institutional capacity to embark on duties of improvement and development.
